Living in Campos Plaza most of us there had a very common place.. Our community Center, better known as the "Pedro Albizu Campos Plaza" Center.. or just "The Center"... As a young kid I went there, and as a young adult I worked there. Harold and his brothers were among the many kids I "took care of" in the Center. Harold was "a little electric kid" to say the least, lol so full of energy.. As the kids grew up many took different roads, some good, some not so good. I went away to college and moved on, my family remained in Campos.. I remember hearing about Harold in the movies.. Cool ....Wow!!! I was impressed.. So when one evening I came to visit my family as I was walking through "The back of Campos" I see Police and yellow tape in front of his building. I go up to my mother's apt. and my sisters are looking out the window, typical Campos Stuff.. I asked "what happend?" they found Harold dead in his apt.. Remember him? Harold Hunter? I do... but I only remember Harold the little boy.. My sister told me how famous he was.. and I began to do some research.. I stayed up late just reading, and reading about how much Harold had accomplished, but mostly how much he was LOVED and by so many. So for those of you who knew Harold the man, Harold the teen and me, Harold the boy.. we can come full circle and pretty much say.. he was a GREAT story from Start to Finish.
