I made a movie over the winter and wanted a real star and I got Harold Hunter. I was a big fan of his after his performance in 'Kids' and started to follow his career afterwards. The great thing about him was that when we talked, it was like talking to a friend. He was so optimistic and had a beautiful smile. May you rest in peace www.louiscampos.com

When we saw the poster that said RIP Harold I thought it was a joke...you looked so alive and cute as always with your little doggie...I thought it was a fake like your friendster profile that someone made for you...i can't believe it still...well I do believe it because you were getting really f**ked up a lot but it seems crazy that I'm not gonna be bumping into you. You have always been there. I met you in Washington Square park when I was like 12 or 13 and you have been like a part of my family that's how you always treated me like a cousin that you wanted to do dirty things to. RIP baby...

I met Harold on the subway a bit over a month ago while vacationing in New York. I had seen him in vids and mags and he truly ripped, and like every other New York skater I'd met, he was a cool, down to earth guy. Even to a complete stranger.
RIP buddy. Dan - Australia

I have been thinking of what to write since I joined... Well, simply put - Harold was a great guy, I have known Harold for about 12 years but unfortunately had not seen him in quite a while. When I heard the news I was devastated! I remember seeing him at Washington Square Park when I walked my dog, seeing him when I was hanging out with Mike, Sakai, Ron and Elijah...I could go on. Never a dull moment with Harold, always a sweet person, always a perfectionist with his craft. He will be missed! He will live on.
